Returns Policy

While we hope you are delighted with your purchase from Eclectic Gift Store, we understand that sometimes a return may be necessary.

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to return your item(s) - please note the Exceptions/Non-Returnable section below. However, we ask that you contact us within 14 days of receiving your order to let us know that you wish to return all or part of it. You can do this by emailing us at help@eclecticgiftstore.co.uk.

Once we have been notified, you then have the remaining time (up to 30 days from the original delivery date) to return the item(s) to us. All returns must be:

  • In their original packaging,

  • In a clean, unused and resalable condition,

  • With all labels and tags intact.

Refunds will be issued within 10 days of receiving the returned item(s).

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition in which it was received — unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You will also need to provide the receipt or proof of purchase.

Returns must be sent using a tracked postal service, and we strongly advise you to retain the proof of postage. We are unable to issue refunds for items we do not receive, and we cannot accept liability based solely on a claim that an item was posted.  Returns are made at the customer’s expense. 

To begin a return, please email help@eclecticgiftstore.co.uk. We will provide further instructions, including the correct return address. Please do not send any items back without first contacting us, as these returns may not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.  If the item has been damaged in the post we will request you send photographs of the damaged packaging and item as we cannot claim from the Royal Mail without this.  


Exceptions / non-returnable items

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Made-to-order products
Some of our items are made to order and printed especially for you (for example, items fulfilled by our print-on-demand partner). These products are exempt from the usual return policy and cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are faulty or damaged, in accordance with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.

If your made-to-order item arrives with a fault or has been damaged in transit, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and include photographs of the issue. We will arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.




Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
