Is This A Step Too Far?

Forward Planning With The AGA Queen, Mary Berry

There's forward planning and then there's Mary Berry forward planning.  With best selling cookbooks such as One Step Ahead and Cook Now, Eat Later the Queen of the AGA, Mary Berry is always ahead of the game but is this taking it too far?

Funeral Planning, Mary Berry Style

“I know it’s a bit morbid, but I’m not too bothered,” she quipped. “After all, I won’t be there!” Ever the hostess, she added, “I’d rather have a party before it happens. I love having people round and sharing.”

Is This Taking Things Too Far?

Dame Mary, 87, and her husband Paul, 90, have reserved a double grave plot next to her mother-in-law and their late son, William, who tragically passed away in 1989. She’s also chosen some favorite hymns for the service, cheekily admitting she keeps funeral sheets from others’ services to tick off her preferred tunes.

Making The Most Of Life With Mary Berry

Of course, Dame Mary is all about making the most of life and staying active. “The main thing about old age is to do as much as you can,” she said. “Paul and I are even learning croquet!” After breaking her hip last year, she committed to her physio and swimming, and now feels as good as ever. “If you break something, do as you’re told! It’s worth it,” she wisely advised.

How Many Mary Berry Cookbooks Do You Own?

With over 80 cookbooks to her name and six million copies sold, Dame Mary continues to inspire, especially with her latest book, *Cook And Share*, based on her BBC2 series. As always, she’s there to guide us through every recipe, making sure we feel her support every step of the way.
